In Life
Aside from the "great commision" given us from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ when he said, "...Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."(Mark 16:15) We strive to live every day in obedience to God through His word...The Holy Bible; and furthermore, to keep God and the great sacrifice of His Son ever before us and first in our hearts! Also, we endeavor to seek His will for us in everyday life: where we should live, what employment he sees fit for us, what church to attend, and God's mind in every financial decision.
We have also determined to raise up our children "...in the nurture and admonition of the Lord." (Ephesians 6:4) God has seen fit to bless us with children and they were placed in our care. This is our God given duty and responsibility as parents; we do not esteem it lightly, for we know we shall one day give an account of how and what we have taught and instilled in them. The book of Proverbs tells us to "Train up a child in the way he should go..."(Pro.22:6); and so, by the wisdom of God, we seek to keep His word in the home.
Finally, we believe that it is not only our duty, but that of every Christian to be a living testimony for Jesus Christ: for He is the ONLY TRUE GOD and SAVIOUR of all men; and that we should live and stirve to do all things for the glory of God!
In brockville
Our mission here in Brockville is very simple, and is what "the church" has been doing for just about two thousand years. We endeavor to propagate "the gospel" (good news), which plainly put is how Jesus Christ took the judgment of sin on himself for all men, so that all men could be saved. ("...Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners..." 1 Tim.1:15)
By the grace of God, we endeavor to see God plant a local bible-beliving church, which will adhere to the truth of God's words, and strive to be an example to the city of Brockville; for its leaders, and for all the inhabitants thereof.
Our desire and sincere prayer is to see families helped by the word of God; to see lives changed for the good of the common man but mostly for the glory of God; and that maybe through the preaching of God's love in the sacrifice of His Son, we might see many people in this charming city fall genuinely in love with our Saviour Jesus Christ, who so rightly deserves to be loved.
